My Current Rates

I charge $100 flat fee for a shoot(1-1.5hrs) with a production of 5-10 edited images.This includes my travel time(if located around Indy),Taking the photos,editing time and a disc that you will get with the finished product.You can then choose to either just take the disc and make prints yourself or pay for them through me.It's all up to you :)
I'll have a model release for you to sign stating that you give me permission to use the photos for my portfolio and that you will not alter any images that I produce for you.

I am also looking for models,make-up artist,clothing designers,other photographers,etc. to work with and learn from.Especially folks that are willing to donate time.Portfolio for portfolio(TFCD)!! If that is you,PLEASE contact me.

Children of Indy

Does anyone else have a whole gaggle of kids?My boyfriend and I have 5 between us.I have been looking for things to do around Indy but most things cost so much.I know the pools open this weekend,but has anyone ever seen a public pool coupon?Parks are great but they get bored easy.I am really just looking for someplace to take 5 kids,where they can have fun and not find too much trouble.Any ideas??

Nana's Garden

We spent Saturday at Nana's house celebrating Mark's birthday.I had not been there for a while and upon arrival was hit with a beauty of color and design that was breathtaking!She had made dinner and everyone ate outside.As I was eating,my brain was just chomping at the bit to grab the camera and photograph this beautiful scenery.I had to wait for cake and ice cream(which was fine)to be done.Then I quickly snatched up the camera and walked around the house to see what I could get into!Here are some end results...

Birthday

Today,we will celebrate my boyfriend's Birthday.Now,I know it's going to sound CheeZZZy and all,but I am truely blessed to know him.He really is the most amazing man I have ever known.Not to mention a wonderful Daddy and Awesome mechanic.Happy 4-0 to you Baby!!!

A sampling of automotive photos I have taken over the past few years.Some older.Some newer.Cars,trucks,bikes and of course one lone Olds 403.Most people never get to see the "guts" of a vehicle,so I especially love the photos of the truck :)

I grew up around a garage where my G-pa worked on semis.So of course(being a Tom-boy) I found engines fascinating from a very young age.Now,as an adult I (of course) am in love with a mechanic.Automotive tho.We work on cars together.Go to car shows together.He even taught me to ride a bike!Who would have known that I would go from a happy little girl sitting on an engine block watching her G-pa work,to having some of those very same days with my daughter?! I love my life!!!

Hello all,my name is Lindy.I am a brand spankin new photographer here in Indianapolis.I've created this blog to get my name out into the world and of course to network.

I have always loved taking pictures and just last Christmas received a camera that has allowed me to turn my hobby into a small business,of sorts.What I mean by this,is that I am VERY much still learning and doing photos for cheap to build my portfolio.
I am hoping that the blog world will help me connect with other photographers,models,hair&make-up artist,etc.

Being as I am self-taught,I am also hoping to learn a little while I'm here.Any comments are welcome.All I ask is that you not be rude,as I will not be to you! I know that I have got a long way to go before I can consider myself "professional",but in just under 5 months,I don't think I have done to bad.
